Eep Its been a while

So many things have been happening this past year that the blog that I was never good at keeping up on got neglected even more.
We were approved to be foster parents in March of this year. Not even 24 hours after receiving the call that we were approved we got a call asking to take on a child. We had this child for 7 weeks. She was the cutest little girl ever and forever will have a piece of my heart. After she went home we got a 4 day break before getting a phone call to take a sibling group of 3! Twin almost 4 month olds and their big sister who was 6. We had them for 3 1/2 months. During this time zero to very little knitting got done. The twins were preemies so they were very behind and were not like actual 4 month olds they were closer to 1-2 month olds when we got them.
They have been done now for a month and we are anxiously waiting on another phone call. In the meantime I have been super busy knitting getting caught up.

Thank you all for supporting me in 2010! What a great year!!! Thanks to all my wonderful customers but also thanks to all of my family that has put up with my knitting and obsession with knitting.
I am on Facebook. I update there regularly…more than here. Many updated action pics and update finished items.

Here at OrangePiggy’s LittleDog we are staying incredibly busy. Thank you all to my wonderful customers who keep me this way. I am almost booked until 2011 so if you need anything please let me know ASAP.

A little update =)

Here at OrangePiggy’s LittleDog life has been an adventure. If you have a custom with me right now I want to thank you for how patient you have been.
We have been extremely busy getting our house ready for an inspection. We are in the middle of trying to get licensed to do foster care. We knew we were going to go down this road, but we had no idea how fast it was all going to happen. When I took on the customs we had no knowledge we would be in the middle of all this right now. I am working on completing things as quickly as possible and hope to have out the door my last 2 custom orders in the next 3 weeks. I am starting a waiting list that I will start in 3 – 4 weeks.
A few things have happened recently to put me a little behind. Besides getting the house ready…while getting it ready we ended up a flooded basement. So while trying to get everything ready we had to spend extra time getting everything cleaned up. (No worries I do not keep my yarn in the basement).
So again I apologize to the couple of people on the list thats its taken this long. I am working on your orders now. We are through the first inspection so I will have more time to focus on the knitting. I will be in contact with each one of you in the next day or 2.
